Terms of Service

1. Who we are

TheCrew is provided by Dhruv Lakhera, trading as TheCrew (“we”, “us”), of 320/1, Nagendra Saklani Marg, Lane No 15, Banjarawala, Dehradun 248001, India. When you use TheCrew, your agreement is with us.

2. Accepting these terms

By using TheCrew you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it. You must be at least 18. We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do; carrying on using TheCrew after that means you accept the update.

3. The service

TheCrew is your online AI co-worker, with the skills and experience to make AI videos, so you don’t have to suffer through round after round of generations. You describe the film you have in mind, and it plans the shot, draws a frame and turns it into a short video. It runs in your browser; nothing physical is delivered.

4. Plans and payment

You buy from us, Dhruv Lakhera. Razorpay takes the payment for us, and we never see your full card details.

Prices are in Indian rupees, and the price you see is the price you pay: no tax is added. Online checkout is open in India. Elsewhere, email us at lakheradhruv94@gmail.com.

• Plans are billed monthly or yearly, and renew automatically until you cancel.
• Under Indian banking rules, a renewal above ₹15,000 may need you to approve it each time. If it isn’t approved, it counts as a failed payment.
• You can cancel at any time under Manage billing on your account page. Your plan keeps working until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
• Moving to a higher plan means paying that plan’s full price straight away in a new checkout. Your old plan stops, the time left on it isn’t refunded, the new plan’s monthly credits are added to what you have, and a new billing period starts that day. We show you the amount before you pay.
• Moving to a lower plan charges and refunds nothing today. You approve it at checkout and keep your credits, and it starts when the period you’ve paid for ends, at the lower plan’s price.
• Top-ups are one-off payments, and you need an active plan to buy them.
• If a payment fails, making things pauses until it’s resolved. Your account and work stay in place.

5. Credits

Images and videos cost credits, and you’ll always see the cost before you start. Credits are set aside when a generation starts, and returned in full if it fails.

• Your plan’s monthly credits last for that billing cycle and 1 more, then expire. The oldest are used first.
• Top-up credits last 12 months, and are used after your plan’s credits.
• You need an active plan to buy or use credits, including top-ups.
• Credits have no cash value, and can’t be transferred or exchanged.

6. Acceptable use

You must not use TheCrew, or anything it makes, for:

• anything illegal, or fraud or spam;
• sexual content involving minors, in any form;
• non-consensual sexual content, or deepfakes of real people without their consent;
• hate, harassment, threats, or content that encourages violence or self-harm;
• doxxing, or deceiving people, including passing off AI output as real footage of real events;
• malware, or material that infringes someone else’s intellectual property;
• probing, scraping or interfering with our systems, or trying to get around safety measures or usage limits.

7. Your content

You keep your rights in what you put in: your words, reference images and uploads. You are responsible for your prompts and uploads, for having the right to use them, and for how you use what TheCrew makes.

As far as we’re able, the images and videos you generate are yours, and you can use them commercially with no watermark. Because AI can produce similar results for different people, we can’t promise they’re unique, or that they’re free of other people’s rights. You give us permission to store and process your content to run TheCrew for you.

8. AI can be wrong

AI output can be inaccurate, unexpected or unsuitable. Check anything before you publish or rely on it. It isn’t legal, medical, financial or other professional advice, and shouldn’t replace it.

9. Moderation and takedowns

We may review, block or remove content that appears to break these terms, and our model providers use their own safety filters. If you think something on TheCrew infringes your rights or breaks these rules, email lakheradhruv94@gmail.com with the details and we’ll look into it.

10. Our intellectual property

TheCrew, including its software, design, name and mascots, belongs to us. These terms give you the right to use it, not ownership of it.

11. Availability

We work to keep TheCrew running, but we can’t guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. It relies on third-party AI models, which can change, slow down or stop being available, and we may change features or models over time.

12. Suspension and closing accounts

We may suspend or close your account for a material breach of these terms, non-payment, a security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious violations. You can stop using TheCrew at any time.

13. Liability

TheCrew is provided “as is”. As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have by law that can’t be excluded, including consumer rights.

14. Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without taking away any mandatory consumer rights where you live. Questions? Email lakheradhruv94@gmail.com.
